Population Health & AI Workshop


This workshop is designed to inspire and motivate our health informatics workforce to become more involved in Artificial Intelligent (AI) and its impact on healthcare and population health. The aim of the of the workshop is to present real successful stories of implementation / deployment AI models to improve Healthcare. There is a rapidly growing demand for AI solutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, both by the public and the private sectors. Clients in the GCC are keen to take advantage of the availability and cost-savings offered by AI in a high-tech Information Technology environment. The development of Big Data Analytics tools and its integration with AI can be a great enabler that can be used to solve many healthcare problems by utilizing massive amounts of data generated by state-of-the-art smart Health applications.

Workshop Objectives

  • To Discover interesting patterns and knowledge from massive amount of data
  • To utilize business intelligent process includes data cleaning, data integration, data selection, transformation, machine learning, pattern evaluation, and knowledge presentation
  • To implement AI technologies and applications and utilize open-source tools
